Terms of Service

Using the service

Skin.TF lets you trade Team Fortress 2 items with our automated bot via standard Steam trade offers. By using the site you confirm you own your Steam account and are allowed to trade the items you offer.

Trades are final

Once you accept a Steam trade offer, the trade is complete and handled entirely by Steam — it can't be reversed by us. Always review an offer before accepting it.

We may refuse or cancel trades

We may decline, hold, or cancel any offer at our discretion — for example on a suspected pricing error, an item we don't accept, suspected fraud, or technical issues. Prices and stock change constantly and are not guaranteed until an offer is sent.

As-is, at your own risk

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for losses arising from use of the site, Steam downtime, mispriced items, or failed trades.

Not affiliated with Valve

Skin.TF is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation. Team Fortress 2, Steam, and all related marks are property of Valve.

Privacy

What we store

When you sign in we store your public Steam ID, persona name, and avatar so we can show you as logged in and process trades. We keep a record of trades you make through the site (the items and value) for your trade history. A session cookie keeps you logged in.

How you log in

Login uses Steam's official OpenID. We never see or store your Steam password, and we can't access your account beyond sending you trade offers, which you approve yourself.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers. We only use it to run the trading service.

Your data

Want your stored data removed? Reach out via Contact and we'll take care of it. Note that the trade itself, once completed on Steam, lives in Steam's records, not just ours.
